Lebanon's Jonathan Yordy, seen here comopeting at the 2018 OSAA state championships, will be the top seed in the 5A boys 200-yard individual medley at the 2019 state championships.

West Albany High won the boys and girls championships on Friday at the Mid-Willamette Conference swimming district meet at Osborn Aquatic Center.

The boys outscored runner-up Silverton 448.5-377. Lebanon was third (299.5), Crescent Valley fourth (244), South Albany fifth (182) and Corvallis sixth (178).

The West girls outscored second-place CV 424-386. Lebanon was fourth (219), Corvallis fifth (166) South Albany eighth (125).

The winner of each event advanced to next weekend's 5A state meet at Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center in Beaverton.

In the boys events, Kieran Van Horsen (WA) won the 100- and 200-yard freestyles; Jonathan Yordy (LHS) won the 200 IM; Eric Formiller (WA) won the 50 freestyle; and Braxton Reece (WA) won the 100 butterfly.

Dylan Hayes (WA) won the 500 freestyle; Drew Charley (LHS) won the 100 backstroke and Brayden Smith (CV) won the 100 breaststroke.

West Albany won the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay. Lebanon won the 400 freestyle relay.

In the girls events, Paula Lomonaco (CV) won the 100 and 200 freestyle; Bailey Dickerson (WA) won the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke; and Francesca Criscione (CV) won the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle.

CV won the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.

At the state meet, Lebanon’s Elizabeth Beck is seeded fifth in the 200 free and the 500 free and Isabella Ayala is ninth in the 500 free and 11th in the 200 free.

The Warriors are seeded seventh in the 200 free relay and ninth in the 400 free relay.

Lebanon’s Yordy is seeded first in the 200 IM and fifth in the 500 free; Nico Barbafiera is third in the 200 free and fourth in the 100 free; Charley is sixth in the 100 back and ninth in the 100 fly; Dane Torgerson is ninth in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 free; and Tyler Simpson is 10th in the 500 free.
