Three members of the Oregon State wrestling team are ranked in the top 20 and the Beavers check in at No. 24 in InterMat’s annual tournament and dual-meet preseason rankings.

The three ranked Beavers are senior 184-pounder Taylor Meeks at No. 7, sophomore heavyweight Amarveer Dhesi at No. 8 and senior 174-pounder Joe Latham at No. 19.

All three advanced to the 2014 NCAA championships.

Minnesota is ranked No. 1 in both the tournament rankings and dual meet rankings. Two Gophers are ranked first in their respective weight classes and five are in the top five.

Updated rankings are released every Tuesday during the season. The next rankings will be released on Nov. 4.

The Beavers open the season on Nov. 6 with their annual intrasquad meet at Gill Coliseum. They will compete at the Mike Clock Open in Forest Grove on Nov. 9 and then host Southern Oregon on Nov. 13 in their first counting dual.
