The Oregon State wrestling team opens competition in the two-day Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite Friday morning at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The tournament field features 33 college teams, including the other five Pac-12 teams. As such, several intraconference matchups are expected throughout the weekend.

Last season, OSU placed fourth with a team score of 98.5 points. Five Beavers placed, including three returners to this year’s squad. At 149, Scott Sakaguchi collected a fifth-place finish, while Taylor Meeks took home fourth at 197.

The Beavers are looking to bounce back after the recent tough loss against No. 2 Minnesota.

The tournament is set to begin at 9 a.m. Friday. The meet also begins at 9 a.m. Saturday. The championship finals are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
