Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Here is a list of holiday schedules and closures:

Banks, credit unions: All will be closed Monday.

Buses: Albany Transit System, Call-A-Ride and the Linn-Benton Loop will not run Monday. Corvallis Transit System, the Corvallis-Albany Connection, Dial-a-Bus, the Linn Shuttle, the Philomath Connection and the 99 Express will run Monday.

Government: State government agencies will be closed Monday; federal offices of the Siuslaw National Forest and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency also will be closed. Benton County, Linn County, city of Albany and city of Corvallis and city of Philomath offices will be closed Monday. The sheriff’s offices will continue patrols, as will police departments.

Linn-Benton Community College: The college will be closed Monday.

Liquor stores: The Sweet Home Liquor Store will be closed Monday. All other liquor stores in the area will be open.

Oregon State University: The university will be closed Monday.

Postal service: U.S. post offices will be closed Monday, and no deliveries will be made until Tuesday.

Public libraries: Both Albany libraries will be closed Monday. The Corvallis-Benton County Public Library and all its branches will be closed Monday. The Lebanon Public Library will be closed Monday.

Public pools: The Albany Community Pool will be closed Monday. Osborn Aquatic Center in Corvallis will be open Monday. The Lebanon Community Pool will be open Monday.

Public schools: Check with your local school district.

Senior centers: The Albany and Lebanon centers will be closed Monday. The Corvallis center is closed till June for remodeling.

Trash and recycling pickup: Contact your local trash service for holiday schedules.
