welcomes new doctor

Samuel Milstein, DO, has joined the team of providers at Samaritan Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic – Lebanon and SamCare Mobile Medical in Halsey.

Dr. Milstein earned a bachelor’s degree from Bates College and an osteopathic medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He completed a residency at Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic – Geary Street.

Library to host

recycling class

Rachel Snyder, education coordinator with Republic Services, will host a presentation on the new recycling guidelines at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 18. The class will be held in the community room at the Lebanon Public Library, 55 Academy Street.

The class will help participants learn what can be recycled and how those items should be prepared. A question and answer period will follow the one-hour presentation.

ODFW  has opening

on fish task force

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a candidate to represent fishing or fish conservation interests on the state’s Fish Screening Task Force.

The ODFW Fish Screening Program helps water users install and maintain fish screens to prevent fish from entering water diversions. The Task Force advises ODFW on program development, implementation, monitoring, technology, funding and reporting.

Applications are due by July 27, 2018.
