Have you ever wanted to learn how to preserve your garden bounty or simply make jam with all the beautiful fruit available at the local farmer’s market? Now is your chance!
On Sept. 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the Lebanon Public Library will host a presentation by OSU Extension Services on canning basics and how to safely preserve your bounty in the library's community room, 55 Academy St.
This event is free of charge and does not require a library card. Classroom to career expo
Planned and presented by industry representatives in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Santiam, Lebanon Community Schools, and Sweet Home School District there will be a vocational career expt for east Linn school from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Santiam Travel Depot & Railroad Reload facility.
The expo will feature information in careers on hands-on heavy equipment operation, conversations with local industry representatives, virtual reality simulators and interactive workshops.
