Construction project

under way on J Street

A construction project on J Street between Second and Fifth Streets will begin this week. The intent of the project is to provide a new driving surface as well as to fix any areas of roadway base that may be failing. This will be accomplished by removing the existing roadway surface and constructing a new asphalt overlay.

During construction, J Street will be closed between Second and Fifth. Residents in the areas should expect delays and/or detours, but will be afforded reasonable access.
