The Tangent Inn, 32994 Highway 99E, opened in September in the same space as the old Dixie Creek Saloon, but this is a family-friendly restaurant.
And Tangent residents are thrilled to have an eatery in their small town again, as there isn’t another restaurant for miles around.
The joint features the massive Tangent Burger, a half-pound brisket-and-sirloin mix topped with three pieces of bacon and 4.5 ounces of cheese that melts over the patty and is fried into a skirt.
Since we last reported on the restaurant in October, the Tangent Inn has added breakfast, and now opens at 8 a.m. on weekdays and at 7 a.m. on the weekends. Dinner options also have expanded and included prime rib, steak, pork chops and more.
