John Sobolewski and Jason Biga have a simple guiding principle for their new restaurant TacoVino: Any ingredient that tastes amazing would be amazing in a taco.
And so that’s how you get Dungeness crab, butternut squash, coconut chicken curry, bacon and Brussel sprouts and other options of tacos. (Yes, thanks to Taco Vino, we ate Brussel sprouts this year. It's a miracle, we know.)
Business has been booming at the restaurant, which sometimes has a line out the door. We’d encourage you to head to TacoVino during the afternoon or late night, in part to avoid the crowds, but also for the specials.
The restaurant is also known for its house-made sangria and for its mescal, tequila and wine.
