Are you heading to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland this year? Let director and theater historian Robert Leff be your guide.

Leff, who has been going to the festival since 1969, will preview the 11 productions of the 2018 season. The class will meet every Monday from April 2 to May 21, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Majestic Theatre community room, 115 SW Second St., Corvallis.

He will discuss the history of the shows, the challenges of presenting them for the 21st century audiences and show selected film clips.

Here's the class outline:

• April 2: Introduction and "The Book of Will"

• April 9: "Othello"

• April 16: "Henry V"

• April 23: "Romeo and Juliet"

• April 30: "Love's Labour's Lost"

• May 7: "Sense and Sensibility" and "Destiny of Desire"

• May 14: "Manahatta," "The Way The Mountain Moved," and "Snow in Midsummer"

• May 21: "Oklahoma!"

The cost is $75 for residents, $93.75 for nonresidents. The last day for internet registration is April 2. The class is for ages 16 and up. To register, see
