The Lebanon Warriors coming off their first state championship hosted a jamboree on Aug. 25 to kick of the season before official games begin this week.
The jamboree is a way for all starting varsity players to get some play time on the field before competitive games begin. No scores were kept, and offenses and defenses swapped spots after several attempts instead of switching at each score.
There were no fourth-down conversions. The Warriors looked ready for the season sticking with their veer option offense that they become known for last year, while trading out for many fresh faces as several seniors graduated last year.
The teams joining Lebanon were Thurston, Stayton, Churchill and Springfield.
