The Oregon State softball team entered the national rankings for the first time this season by debuting at No. 24 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I poll.

The Beavers are riding an 11-game winning streak and travel to the Easton Invitational in Fullerton, Calif., this weekend.

OSU (13-3) had received votes in last week’s poll before sweeping its second consecutive five-game invitational. In five games at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, the Beavers outscored their opposition, 39-7.

The Beavers are one of eight teams from the Pac-12 in the rankings, which are voted on by 31 NCAA Division I head coaches, one representing each conference.

The Beavers are also received votes in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 this week.
