Glenn Westbrook, 87, of Dallas, passed away Thursday, October 26 at his home.

Glenn was born in Revillo, South Dakota to John Samuel and Edith (Sutton) Westbrook.

He married Mary Louise Gutierrez on February 23, 1952 in Albany.

He was a longtime resident of Albany where he and his wife owned and operated a number of restaurant businesses including Tom-Tom Restaurant, Westbrook Restaurant and Yaquina Bay Restaurant.

Glenn was a builder. He built and/or remodeled all of his restaurants. He was also a skilled wood worker and was producing furniture from raw wood for his family and friends up to the last days of his life.

He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, working on his farm and winter months in the Palm Desert area.

He is survived by his children, Allen Westbrook and wife Linda of Albany, Robert Westbrook and wife Debbie of Redmond, Judy Smith and husband Rick of Rickreall, and Jan Widmer and husband Tim of Albany; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers, Gene, Ross, Jack, and Curtis; as well as sisters, Margaret Steele and Mildred Sime.
