Recent Oregon State University graduates Johnny Beaver, Milla Oliveira, Francisco Morales and Amy Gibson will display their artwork at Linn-Benton Community College's South Santiam Hall Gallery through Oct. 26.

The exhibit, titled "Connecting Territories," features painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture.

A reception and artist talk will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the gallery. Light refreshments will be served.

Beaver's abstract and stylized narratives are a window into his personal experiences with mental health issues, and provide a colorful perspective on the subject. Oliveira's immense paintings invite viewers to get lost in vibrant color where technique and brush stroke creative an exclusive experience for each viewer.

Morales offers black-and-white art of various sizes in woodcut, lithography and more, detailing surreal and religious themes. Gibson's displays thought-provoking work in experimental mediums.

LBCC art galleries and receptions are free. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. For special needs and accommodations, contact the Disability Coordinator at 541-917-4789.
