Where's Waldo?

In Corvallis, of course.

The iconic children's book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting 25 Corvallis businesses throughout the community this July.

People who want to participate can pick up a "Find Waldo in Corvallis!" passport, which contains names of all the participating sites, and get their passport stamped or signed for each Waldo they spot. Collecting store stamps or signatures at 20 or more businesses will entitle diligent seekers entry into a grand prize drawing Aug. 1, with the top prize being a six volume deluxe set of Waldo books.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the "Where's Waldo?" books. To celebrate, Waldo’s friend Wenda will also be hiding in Grass Roots Books and Music.

The hunt is free and lasts all month. For more information, call Grass Roots Books and Music at 541-754-7668.
